My Process

Every commission I accept is important to me.  Nothing leaves my studio unless I am completely satisfied with it.

After accepting a commission I find a mutually convenient time meet, as I prefer to photograph my subject in person.  It is best to see my subject in their home environment, so they are relaxed.  This way I see their true character and can note any typical mannerisms. I take lots of photos and notes while identifying angles and postures that are particular to that animal and their personality.  By meeting the subject and talking to their owner I can see the subject’s personality and understand my client’s wishes for the portrait.

I can also discuss if you want me to organise framing for you, and on request I can bring a selection of frames for you to consider.

Timings depend on my work load, but I am happy to discuss this should you want a picture completed for a special occasion.

I charge £350 for a single unframed portrait, plus travel (at 45p per mile from my home in North Norfolk).

I can organise framing at cost price using by local framer
