A Bit About Polly
I studied Fine Art at university specialising in sculpture. I went on to complete a Masters Degree that allowed me to study in both Holland and Spain. My final show lead to being offered a solo exhibition of underwater and long exposure photography in Faringdon, London. After leaving university I continued to work mainly in sculpture but started to do occasional portraits of friends dogs and horses. Over the years this has grown into a business.
I work mainly in pastel on sanded paper but still enjoy finding time to experiment with my work. Recently I was living in Oman studying camels amongst other things. I experimented with working with fresh charcoal and the natural pigment indigo, and collaborating with local henna artists to decorate my images. I have now returned to Norfolk and am enjoying being back home in my studio.
